INSTALLATION MANAGER WANTED

Founded in 1992, Artichoke specialises in the bespoke traditional design, manufacture and installation of fine quality kitchens, fitted furniture and architectural joinery, together with the full conversion of town and country properties. Every design we undertake is individual and bespoke to the client brief, making each project unique.

We work for financially elite individuals who expect professional and outstanding products and service.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Installations Manager to join our busy team working on site in London and UK country house, and occasionally overseas.

The minimum requirement for application is a manager with five years’ experience in a similar role.   The successful applicant will be someone who meets the following requirements:

  • Able to manage of all company project installations, including pre and post installation requirement, ensuring that fits are finished on time and to the highest standard.
  • Has excellent communication skills, keeping the operations team and clients up to date at all times
  • Communicating with clients, confirming schedules and logistics, including appliance deliveries
  • Managing site surveys as required
  • Managing the snagging process including communicating back to the workshop
  • Supervising the work of all parties involved in the installation, coordinating the installers and /or subcontractors involved and organising accommodation for working away as required
  • Regularly report progress on each project, communicating delays and/or concerns with the operations team and our clients.
  • Attendance at operations meetings, to be fully briefed and discuss technicalities of projects with the team
  • Managing company tooling and vehicles
  • Skilled installation work, particularly carpentry and joinery
  • Line management experience

Pay is offered at competitive rates and will be commensurate with experience.

PROJECT FURNITURE DESIGNERS WANTED

In addition to this, we are also on the hunt for a skilled furniture designer.  The minimum requirement for application is a designer with five years’ experience in a similar commercial environment.   The successful applicant will be someone who meets the following requirements:

  • Proficient AutoCAD 2D user
  • You will need to demonstrate a flair for creative solutions to design conundrums
  • Attention to detail is needed and extreme thoroughness in the design and delivery of projects
  • A good understanding of British period furniture and joinery detailing
  • An understanding of mechanical and electrical services in relation to fitted furniture, kitchens, and bathrooms
  • Excellent written and spoken English for communication purpose
  • Experience of Interior measured surveying would be useful
