NOTTING HILL, LONDON
Artichoke worked with McLean Quinlan Architects to develop the design of this bespoke contemporary kitchen. The kitchen, installed into the basement, was designed to be as light as possible with white as the primary colour. Artichoke’s design team incorporated the supporting pillar seamlessly into the worksurface. The backsplash behind the principle sink moulds into the work-surface below it; the two surfaces join on a curve to ensure water does not collect at a right-angle join. The final image is the original 3D used by us to illustrate the space to the client.
Primary materials: Pigmented lacquer, Corian and back-painted toughened glass.
