In today's identikit design world, it's refreshing to find a company that prides itself on designing and building truly bespoke fitted furniture – no two designs are the same. Artichoke has specialised in the field for 15 years, and has now opened a Chelsea design studio at World's End Studios. It is best known for beautiful bespoke kitchens, but fitted cabinetry, libraries, bathrooms and media rooms are also regular commissions. As well as working throughout the UK, Artichoke is currently doing design work for two dachas in Moscow and a palace in Saudi. Prices are steep – from £70,500 for a fitted kitchen – but the craftsmanship and quality will be exceptional. The design studio is open by appointment only.
