To help us achieve this, we are looking for an experienced and professional Production Engineer responsible for taking 2D design drawings and preparing manufacturing and purchasing drawings within the budgets allowed.


  • AUTOCAD R19 experience required
  • Cabinet maker back ground and/or a good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, materials selection and presentation
  • Ability to work from drawings and specification sheets
  • Woodwork for inventor experience desirable
  • Microsoft office

The following experience and knowledge is required of an experienced Artichoke production engineer, some of which can be gained once in the role:

  • A good knowledge of timber, timber technology, wood veneers and veneering techniques, wood finishes and finishing techniques, cabinet making and joinery is important for the engineering team.
  • Knowledge of period architectural styles, building techniques, mouldings and geometry from the 1700 onwards
  • Knowledge of quality kitchen appliances, sanitary ware.
  • An understanding of mechanical and electrical services required to be connected to fitted furniture, kitchens, and bathrooms.
