Experienced Cabinet Maker
Our vision is that in 100 years from now, English design and craftsmanship is flourishing and we are still creating interiors that are celebrated by future generations. Artichoke specialises in the bespoke design, manufacture and installation of the highest quality fitted furniture commissions; including bespoke kitchens, bedroom wardrobes, libraries, gunrooms and the full conversions of country houses and period properties.
We are looking for a cabinet maker who is obsessed with detail, unrelenting in pursuit of quality and love what they do. We are looking for makers who will relish the opportunity to make fine fitted furniture that will become part of some of Britain’s most interesting traditional architecture.
The minimum requirement for application is a furniture or cabinet-making qualification with three to five years plus experience in a similar high end commercial cabinet making company.
Candidates must be skilled in all areas of cabinet making with excellent technical knowledge, understanding and experience in both solid and veneered work. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent hand and machine skills and to be able to make individual pieces, from start to finish, as well as working as part of a team on larger projects.
The successful applicant will be someone who meets the requirements outlined above, shares our values and is the right fit for Artichoke and the Production Team.
Pay is offered at competitive rates and based on experience.
